May 2011 Recap

Quick May update. Warning: this is a very boring post where I just feel the need to document our goings on as a family for myself and posterity.
Chlo got her first real goose egg at the park, our good friends blessed there 2nd little boy on May 5th and had a great party after, then we headed over to the Creditview chapel to say goodbye to Grandma Sykes who is moving to Alberta. Uncle Matt had a birthday, Mother's Day was lovely, Sarah, Kim and I cooked, gave our mom's pie plates with treats. Stake Relief Society day was fun it was really fun spending the day with friends, and especially my mum. Took the kids to the hospital for my ultra sound and found out Claire was coming to our family. We spent a lot of time outside when the weather was nice. We had one really nice day we went to the farmer's market in the morning with the cousins, then to Upper Canada Mall to get a Rapunzel doll (because if you come over to our house it is usually playing on some TV somewhere, it's my kids absolute fave, and I'll take it over Barney any day)Carter really wanted one too, he loves Tangled as much as Chlo, but he loved his Toy Story chair we picked up too. We spent of few of the very rainy days May in those plush chairs in the play room vegging out. Then we made a stop at my mum and dad's, had doughnuts and played in the backyard. It was just a nice day. Closer to the end of the month, three of the cousins turned six, so there was a Super Mario party for Everett, and a Monster Truck party for the twins, Hunter and Lucas. I was really sick and ended up missing Hunter and Lucas's party, but luckily Auntie Ceilidh came to the rescue again, and she and Darryl took my kids to the party, and then to a mission farewell for a young man in our ward. I got strep (along with a lot of other family members) pretty bad, it sucked. I seem to get knocked on my butt with antibiotics at least once each pregnancy. Oh and almost forgot, Grandpa Moe detailed our car, my fave thing ever!
That was May.
