Carter and his food

This boy loves to eat. He is EXTREMELY particular about how things are presented, cut, prepared, etc. and I give in to this nonsense of his constantly to save him having a fit, but when he gets something he likes, he savors it like no other kid I've seen. He asks for peanut butter and jam the second he opens his eyes. You say even "sandwich" and he smiles and nods. But look out if there is something on that sandwich he doesn't like. My grandma often laughs about how "disgusted" he would be even as a baby if you tried to give him something he didn't like, and it usually ended up on the other side of the room. The baseboards and walls in my kitchen are still a testament of that. Chloé is the opposite in this regard, she'll try anything. She was polishing off my spinach and turkey sandwich the other day and Carter wanted to try it. She gave him a bite and he spit it out so fast and gave her this look like "Are you trying to poison me or something?" He entertains us daily with his ridiculous food antics, and usually it is quite annoying because of the mess it involves, but some days we just have to laugh.
