This year was a bit different, Darryl had tickets to a baseball game from his boss and was going with my bro Dylan, and I was just going to stay home. But after our red and white traditional breakfast (with real Canadian Maple syrup from one of my kids at school, so yummy) I didn't really feel like being at home alone with the kids all day on the first day of summer holidays, and Darryl's family always go to Wasaga Beach every Canada Day, but I have never driven that far by myself with my kids before, I am not the most confident driver, but I did it! I was very proud of myself and we had an awesome day, most importantly the kids loved it.
